Nokia joins hands with P2i to make a nano-coated water resistant phone

P2i protects your phone on a molecular level making liquid substances bounce off the motherboard and various other internals. P2i's(Perform Protect Improve) nano-coating could cover something like a tissue and protect it from getting wet in water.
The coating covers all of the phone, including the electrical boards inside. The advantage of this type of protection is that it doesn't involve the vacuum caps and lids and the phone has all the usual open spots like a headphone jack, micro USB port, etc. The newer technology from P2i will allow a phone to be submerged in liquid for a period of time.
According to sources now it is the turn of Nokia. Here is an interesting update about upcoming mobile from Nokia for 2013. Nokia is reportedly using nano coating on its upcoming flagship mobile phone. The two companies reportedly struck a deal at the Mobile World Congress a couple of days ago but there's no word on what phone will have the coating. Rumor has it that the upcoming Lumia 1000 EOS with the PureView sensor on board could be one such phone. P2i has already worked with Huawei and Alcatel earlier.
